Betty Beverly is an American writer of memoir, poetry, and short fiction. She grew up in the Midwest Rust Belt, living in rural farm areas and the city, before moving to Colorado.  She held many jobs and had children before finding writing as her way through a daily life often consumed by episodes of PTSD and chronic illness.  As a survivor, she explores through storytelling how the shadows of trauma influence human behaviors and connections across generations, yet life is still punctuated with absurdity and laughter.
